From the archives i.e. long time ago:
The challenge: create a device to display a montage of upcoming films using 2D footage within a stereoscopic 3D projected environment.
The solution: fly around in 3D space watching said films on enormous glass screens! As part of a 3D projected sequence at a cinema expo this piece found me flying between screens to capture key shots of a fast paced edit whilst immersing the viewer in the 3D experience.
In the background were various trailers from some of the featured films randomly placed throughout the space. Created using a combination of Cinema 4D and After Effects left and right eyes were rendered ready for digital cinema projection as well as side by side playback on 3D ready TV's.
